Do I need an oncology vet to confirm a tumour?

Not for the first read — but an oncology service gives you the most options when treatment decisions come up.

Can I book oncology directly?

Most clinics let you. Bring any prior imaging or notes when you go.

What does an oncology workup usually involve?

Some mix of imaging, cytology, and bloodwork — the clinic will scope it once they've examined your pet.

I just found an unexplained lump — what should I do?

Book a consult soon. Most lumps are benign, but the value of catching the few that aren't early is high.

Page summary

This page collects vet clinics in Surrey that offer Oncology services, so owners who need a Oncology workup or follow-up can shortlist in one place. We pull together public records, clinic-declared services, and owner reviews — no jumping between tabs to compare.

How to use this list

Narrow down by what actually matters for a Oncology visit: does the clinic have the equipment you expect, do they take appointments, and is it close enough to get to on a bad day. Filter for "reachable and equipped" first, then sort by opening hours and booking method — it cuts the back-and-forth.

Before you book

Before booking a Oncology consult, sort out a few practical things: is this an initial assessment or a follow-up on a known issue, do you have prior records or imaging you can bring, and do you need everything done in a single visit. Sorting this out up front keeps the visit smooth and the bill predictable.

When to escalate

If your pet has gone downhill fast — sudden drop in energy, sharp loss of appetite, or any other acute change — don't wait it out. Pick a clinic that can see you the same day or has 24-hour cover. If things look stable, book a regular consult ahead of time instead of walking in and queueing.
